What is Benable?

Benable is an affiliate marketing program where you can easily (and I do mean easily) earn commission by creating shareable lists of the products, services, and experiences you recommend.

Benable is partnered with almost 40,000 affiliates, allowing you to share recommendations on a centralized site.

It’s not a way to “get rich quick.” However, it is a way to get started with affiliate marketing in a fun and simple way.

Why I Love Using Benable

One of the great things about Benable is that it’s user-friendly and has an appealing aesthetic. You can easily create lists and add products from your cell phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop computer.

You can also use your high-quality photos for recommendations or select from the images Benable pulls from across the web.

I tend to add products from my cell phone more than anything. It’s super convenient and just as easy as if I were using a computer.

Another perk of Benable is the sheer number of brand partners or affiliate programs you can use in one place.

Of the almost 40,000 affiliate partners on Benable, some of my favorites include:

  • Amazon
  • Anthropologie
  • ASOS
  • Best Buy
  • Beyond Yoga
  • Coursera
  • Macy’s
  • Madewell
  • Microsoft
  • Nike Store
  • Nordstrom
  • Sephora
  • Target
  • TripAdvisor
  • Ulta
  • Wayfair

Friends and followers do not have to have a Benable account to view and make purchases. Lastly, there are no start-up costs!

At a minimum, you only need a sign-up code, Wi-Fi, and a cell phone to start!

The options on what you can share are plentiful!

The lists I’ve created are about things I genuinely enjoy or find inspiring. My All About Coffee, Booklover’s Paradise, and Home Favorites lists are a few of my faves!

Once you’ve decided on your first list idea, it’s time to comb through the affiliates partnered with Benable and start creating your first list.

You can search the site’s search bar to search for popular brands or filter by category.

After signing up, you’ll create a list by following the steps below:

  1. Click “profile” in the top right corner of your desktop or laptop computer. If using a cell phone, this will be in the bottom right of the screen.
  2. Select the purple plus sign and “new list” to create a new list.
  3. Name your list. It should be catchy and descriptive of what your list is about.
  4. Create a subheading/description of what people can expect to find if they click on your list and why it’s worth exploring.
  5. Click “add” to add the link/URL of the product you’re adding. You can also start typing to find a product name to add to your list.

How to Earn Money on Benable

Now that you’ve created your first list continue to add recommendations. You can share your list with friends and family or on social media.

When I earned my first commission, I hadn’t done any sharing or promoting at all. However, Benable still sent traffic to my lists.

It’s essential to optimize your lists for maximum visibility. Once you do, Benable will add a badge to your list.

This means that the Benable algorithm thinks that your list is really high quality and optimized to be discovered by others. Your list will also be indexed by Google!

According to Benable, there are eight steps you can take to optimize your lists.

  1. Curate a list of products, services, and experiences you’ve used or would use.
  2. Engage with your audience by writing helpful notes and product descriptions.
  3. Titles matter! Write titles that are enticing and relevant to your lists.
  4. List descriptions also matter. Create product descriptions that move viewers to explore your recommendations.
  5. Add enough recommendations to make browsing worthwhile. Benable recommends at least a dozen.
  6. Use high-quality images. Images are already in Benable, but you can upload your product images too!
  7. Use sections to organize longer lists. It’s easier to do this when first starting a list as it makes organizing quicker when adding recommendations.
  8. User experience matters. Browse your list as a shopper. Does it make sense? Do the titles, recommendations, notes, and images make you want to purchase?

I recommend optimizing your lists from the beginning so that you don’t have to go back and do it later.

I wasn’t aware of list optimization when I started, so I’ve backtracked to update and optimize.

Final Thoughts

In conclusion, if you enjoy curating products and experiences and earning money, Benable is an excellent way to do so!

It’s fun, beautiful and user-friendly. Lastly, the convenience of creating lists from almost any device with Wi-Fi is a plus.
